This cable is made using an industry favorite low profile right angle 1/4” male connector from SquarePlug, paired with a right angle 5-PIN DIN (MIDI) male connector from Switchcraft, (made in Chicago!), and flexible, small-diameter cable.

There are several different protocols for MIDI over TRS. The most common is referred to as Type A. There is also Type B, different wiring schemes for Chase Bliss pedals, and Red Panda pedals, as well as limited functionality for Strymon pedals.
